The maximum retail price of butane cylinders will increase by 5% – the maximum allowed by regulations – from this Tuesday to 15.14 euros, after six consecutive two-month periods of decline.
This two-monthly revision is calculated based on the cost of raw materials (propane and butane) in international markets, as well as the cost of freight (transport) and the evolution of the euro-dollar exchange rate. Furthermore, this price revision, whether upwards or downwards, is limited to 5%, with the excess or deficit price being accumulated for application in subsequent revisions.
