Consumption of automotive fuels reached 2.5 million tons in July, representing an increase of 1.5% compared to the same month last year and 3.2% over June, according to data from the Strategic Reserve Corporation of Petroleum Products (Cores).
Specifically, gasoline consumption rebounded 9.4% in the month compared to July 2022, while diesel decreased 0.7%.
In the accumulated year, consumption of automotive fuels decreased 1.1% compared to the same period of 2022, with gasoline registering a growth of 6.4%, while automotive diesel decreased (-2.9%).
