MARCH: FUEL CONSUMPTION DECREASES

During the past month of March, automotive fuel consumption decreased by 4.3% compared to the same month of 2021 and also compared to February of this year (in this case, 0.3%). Although the demand for gasoline increased (6.5%), the demand for automotive diesel decreased (6.6%). If the time series analyzed is the first quarter of 2022, automotive fuel consumption increased by 10.6% compared to the same period last year, although it remained below (5.1% less) that reached in the first quarter of 2019.
