THE PRICE OF BUTANE CYLINDERS IS FALLING TODAY

The maximum retail price of butane cylinders will fall by 5% from this Tuesday, to 15.34 euros, thus chaining its second downward revision, according to a resolution published yesterday, Monday, in the Official State Gazette (BOE).

Specifically, the reduction in this latest revision is due to the fall in the price of raw materials (-8.8%), the slight depreciation of the euro against the dollar (-0.1%) in the last two months, and the increase in the cost of freight (+14.1%), according to sources in the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.
