The Government has extended the fuel bonus for the professional road transport sector until the end of the year, although in two phases. Until September 30, the discount will be 10 cents per liter of fuel consumed, while from October 1 to December 31 it will be 5 cents of euros per liter.
This is contemplated in the Royal Decree-Law approved this Tuesday in the Council of Ministers to respond to the economic and social consequences of the war in Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma), a compensation of 13 cents is foreseen for gas-powered fleets until September and 7 cents of euros during the last quarter of the year due to the “special circumstances” facing the price of gas in this stage.
