The maximum retail price of the butane cylinder will increase by 4.91% from this Tuesday, to 16.67 euros, in the third price increase after six consecutive two-month periods of decreases, according to a resolution published in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
This two-monthly revision is calculated based on the cost of raw materials (propane and butane) in international markets, as well as the cost of freight (transport) and the evolution of the euro-dollar exchange rate. Furthermore, this price revision, whether upwards or downwards, is limited to 5%, with the excess or deficit price accumulating for application in subsequent revisions.
